The MailRoom was established in 1985. It was the very first mail and parcel store
in Lexington. It was the first of its
kind in many ways. The founders believed,
as we do, that the key to success is to provide the customer with superior service
all the time and to provide a variety of services. Back then, in addition to mailing and
shipping packages, The MailRoom offered Travel Agent services, Insurance Agent
services, Answering service, Typing service and even a Dating service!
Times have changed and we no longer have those services but
now we offer Computer Repair, Data Backup and Retrieval, eBay sales, and even
Website development in addition to the usual Mail and Parcel center
services. You can buy stamps, get
documents notarized, and send items via USPS (including Express Mail and
Certified Return Receipt), UPS and FedEx. What?s even better is we give you the comparison prices of all 3
carriers and you choose which one meets your price and delivery requirements. International shipments are welcomed and we
even take care of completing all the customs documentation for you!
Len Costanzo bought the business in June 2001. A year or so later, Kelly Davis added his
computer repair business and we've been growing strong ever since. In August 2004 we moved the store from its
original location in the Idle Hour Shops to our current location in Woodhill
Circle Plaza. We are very proud of what
we do and always try to go that little extra mile for our customers. We consider many of them friends and know
they feel the same way about us. Their
needs and concerns are very important to us and to our staff. We are knowledgeable about our business and
